What this policy covers
This policy sets the rules for using the CodeMonster desktop app, the platform, and the apps built on it. It forms part of the Terms of Service and applies to every builder and end user acting under your organization license. You are responsible for the people you give access to.
Content
Do not store, process, or distribute through the platform any content that:
- is illegal where you, your end users, or we operate;
- infringes someone else’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
- contains malware, or is designed to deceive, defraud, or harass;
- you do not have the right to collect, or that a law, contract, or the Data Processing Agreement says you must not load.
The platform and its agents
The platform is shared, governed infrastructure. Do not:
- attempt to bypass authentication, authorization, group permissions, or tenant isolation, or to read or change data outside the tenants you are authorized for;
- probe, scan, or load-test the platform, other customers’ apps, or the agent control surface, except as the vulnerability disclosure policy permits;
- use an AI agent, script, or workflow to interfere with the platform’s operation or with other customers’ apps, or to send unsolicited messages;
- share, lend, or expose your account credentials or tokens, or use another builder’s; every request must carry the identity of the person making it;
- remove, disable, or work around a freeze, permission gate, or safeguard we or your administrators put in place.
The license
The organization license is for your organization. You may build and run apps for your own business, and for your own customers and clients, including apps that serve many tenants. You may not resell, sublicense, rent, or share access to the license or the platform itself as a service to a third party, or represent yourself as an authorized reseller without a written agreement with us.
Building, operating, and charging for apps you deliver to your own clients on your own license is permitted — that is the model described on the partners page, including apps that serve many tenants. What this clause prohibits is selling access to the platform itself — builder accounts, the desktop app, or the agent control surface — to anyone not covered by your license. Security research
We welcome good-faith security research under the vulnerability disclosure policy. Test only against tenants and apps you own, do not access or alter other customers’ data, do not disrupt production, and report what you find to security@codemonster.ai. Research done under that policy is not a breach of this one.
Enforcement
If we believe this policy has been breached we may ask you to fix it, remove the content, suspend the affected account or app, or, for a serious or repeated breach, terminate the license under the Terms of Service. We will tell you what happened and why unless the law prevents it. Where a breach threatens the platform or other customers, we may act first and notify you afterwards.
